Firm Overview

Montrose Advisors was formed to provide the sophistication and experience of an international investment bank, the deep network and market knowledge of an industry veteran, and the trusted relationships and personal attention of a boutique consultancy. We help owners and managers tackle strategic opportunities and challenges with a combination of rigorous analysis, disciplined processes, and creative solutions.

How We Are Different

Effective business owners understand the broad strategic needs of their companies. But with lean management teams already stretched thin running the business, they frequently must let attractive opportunities pass them by because they do not have the expertise – or just as frequently, the time – to adequately explore their alternatives and execute new strategic initiatives. Unfortunately, most investment banks, strategy consultants and accounting firms are not set up to help in these situations, due to their business focus and fee structures. Montrose Advisors serves this market need with extensive experience in strategy development and transaction execution for mid-sized businesses. Our simplified overhead structure allows us the flexibility to structure engagements with affordable fee structures and true senior-level attention. We also take advantage of our extensive network of industry leaders, capital providers, attorneys, and other professional advisors to provide additional insight, relevant introductions, and business opportunities in the context of developing strategies and executing on them for our clients.
